Expectations

We love setting higher HIGHER STANDARDS for other people. We expect the best from them in all our INTERACTION & even a hint of a feeling that they weren't totally HONEST with us makes us suspicious of them. Yet, we often forget that it's easy to expect highly of others, yet hard to consistently meet those standards ourselves. The preferable way of living seems to be hold ourselves, not others to the highest ETHICAL, MORAL & INTELLECTUAL STANDARDS. To expect others to conform to our beliefs is to force them against their will, to weigh them down with the burden of our expectation to let them free is to ensure that if we do have any attachments, its not to their BEHAVIOR but their HAPPINESS.
